Please note that Arts Therapies for Children only accepts the highest priority referrals for our services via the school SENDCO/ Wellbeing lead or headteacher. A referral form created by ATFC then needs to be completed and sent to Natasha Ainley the director and safeguarding lead of ATFC, who is also a qualified Art Therapist.  

ATFC will then review the referral and check that the therapy is appropriate for the client. A therapist will then be allocated to the school / clients. The referral form is filed in a restricted electronic folder and the therapist can review the form together with the SENDO in the school premises.
