Tim Anders MA PGCE HCPC BAAT - Art Therapist and our Founder.

Having taught Art in primary & secondary Schools for the last 15 years, Tim observed first-hand, how therapeutic Art was for many children who had challenging behavioural and emotional difficulties. Tim therefore decided to qualify as an Art Therapist so that he could help children who weren’t able to access conventional therapies.

Since 2011, he has been working at Chai Cancer Care as an Art Therapist, and has set up and runs an Art Therapy department at Sinai Primary School, one of the largest Primary Schools in Europe. He also works at Menorah Grammar School within Darchei Noam providing 1:1 Art Therapy and provides 1:1 Art Therapy for Children who are referred to him by Camp Simcha.

Tim has an MA in Art Therapy from the University of Hertfordshire, is registered with the Health Care Professions Council & the British Association of Art Therapists. and is a BAAT approved supervisor.

Tim is passionate about replicating the success that ATFC has had so far, and is keen to help children at other schools by providing them with qualified and experienced Art, Music & Play therapists, who can see them at their school!
